About the Role
What You’ll Be Doing
Design and Creative
Craft engaging and visually compelling digital ad creatives for our diverse range of clients, ensuring strict adherence to their unique brand guidelines.
Assist in developing and maintaining brand guidelines to ensure consistency in visual identity across all touchpoints.
Create various War Room branded materials, including digital graphics, web assets, merchandise designs, dashboards, slide decks, and content like eBooks and posters.
Project Management
Take ownership of special projects or initiatives that require creative input, such as rebranding efforts, website redesigns, or launching new product lines. Delegate and lead said projects.
Collaboration and Communication
Act as a liaison between the marketing team, internal team, and external vendors, ensuring that all design specifications and requirements are communicated accurately and effectively.
Mentorship and Process Optimization
Mentor and provide guidance to junior graphic designers, offering constructive feedback to help them improve their skills and grow professionally.
Lead creative brainstorming with team members and work together to plan and execute marketing initiatives.
Continuously evaluate and optimize design processes and workflows to increase efficiency and streamline project delivery.
Skills + Experience
5+ years of graphic design experience in the industry, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your skills (Please note that you must submit your portfolio in the cover letter section OR a link to your portfolio in the website link section of the application to be considered for the role)
2-4 years of graphic design education
Experience in designing for digital marketing, preferably digital advertising campaigns for various industries
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects)
Experience with Blender or 3D modeling
Familiar with tools like WordPress
Experience with A/B testing and data-driven design methodologies to optimize design solutions based on performance metrics
Familiarity with social media platforms and their respective design requirements for creating impactful social media assets
UI/UX design experience, particularly in creating intuitive user interfaces and enhancing user experiences.
Innovative, solution-driven, self-motivated, collaborative, and adaptable (ie. being receptive to feedback)
Capacity to work under pressure on various business verticals
Strong attention to detail is required
Excellent English communication skills (in-person, phone & email)
Bonus Points
Knowledge of HTML/CSS and web design principles to collaborate effectively with web developers and ensure design feasibility.
Experience with Figma and Canva
Digital marketing agency experience
Experience with photography, film, and video editing
Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
The pay range for this role is:
65,000 - 73,000 CAD per year (Vancouver)
