Why this job is exciting
- You'll be on a team with a large set of responsibilities, requiring interaction with hardware, firmware, AI, platforms and production teams, all working towards building the world’s safest and most capable humanoid robot.
- In time, your software will run on 1000's of humanoids performing tasks in diverse environments, globally.

Responsibilities:
- Improve and maintain the systems and tools that support development and deployment.
- Work across the stack to streamline workflows, from local development to testing and release.
- Help shape and evolve internal APIs, data formats, and architecture.
- Support cross-functional teams by building reliable infrastructure and automation.
- Tackle wide set of technical problems across the stack
Must-Haves:
- Solid software engineering fundamentals and experience shipping production code.
- Exposure to build systems like Bazel, CMake, or custom toolchains.
- Experience working in complex C++ codebases and broader experience in other languages.
- Strong debugging skills and ability to navigate unfamiliar parts of the codebase.
- Proven ability to improve tools, processes, or workflows for other developers.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiar with Cap’n Proto, Protobuf, or other schema-based APIs.\
- Experience with HIL setups, embedded dev workflows, or hardware bring-up.
- Comfort working in a Linux-based DevOps environment (systemd, containers, networking).
- Some frontend/backend experience — enough to ship tools others want to use.
