The Opportunity

We’re looking for an Accounting Systems Specialist—someone who can keep the books clean and the processes lean. This isn’t just a traditional accounting role; it’s a chance to apply modern finance tools, AI, and automation platforms to make workflows faster, more accurate, and more scalable. You’ll be part of a high-trust, high-performance team that’s building the financial backbone of a fast-growing robotics company.

What You’ll Do

• Lead Month-End Close Activities: Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and ensure deadlines are met.
• Generate & Analyze KPIs: Build dashboards and reports that track operational and financial performance.
• Identify Business Trends: Use financial and operational data to spot risks, opportunities, and emerging patterns.
• Optimize Reporting with Automation: Leverage tools like NetSuite, Coupa, and BI platforms to create real-time, self-serve reporting.
• Support Budgeting & Forecasting: Provide insight-rich data to inform strategic planning.
• Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process changes that increase efficiency and scalability.

What Success Looks Like

• Leadership has timely, accurate KPIs and insights at their fingertips.
• Reports and dashboards update automatically with minimal manual input.
• Finance plays a proactive role in strategic discussions, backed by clear data.
• Automation and process improvements save measurable time and reduce bottlenecks.

What You Bring

• 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience (public practice or industry).
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in KPI development and reporting.
• ERP experience (NetSuite a plus) and advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills.
• Comfort with BI and dashboard tools; familiarity with AI-enabled platforms.
• Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights for leadership.
• Initiative, adaptability, and the confidence to recommend change.
