About the role
Aalo Atomics is seeking an experienced Risk Management & Insurance Consultant to support the company’s growing operations and infrastructure development. This part-time role will help assess operational, construction, and enterprise risks and ensure appropriate insurance coverage and risk mitigation strategies are in place as the company scales
What you'll do
Responsibilities
- Evaluate enterprise, operational, and project-related risks across Aalo’s activities.
- Advise on appropriate insurance coverage (e.g., property, construction, liability, directors & officers, cyber).
- Work with brokers and insurers to structure and negotiate policies.
- Support risk allocation and insurance provisions in commercial contracts.
- Identify risk mitigation strategies related to facilities, manufacturing, and technology deployment.
- Periodically review coverage and recommend adjustments as the company grows.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in corporate risk management, insurance advisory, or brokerage.
- Experience with infrastructure, energy, manufacturing, or technology companies preferred.
- Familiarity with construction and project insurance programs (e.g., builder’s risk, OCIPs/CCIPs) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and provide practical guidance to senior leadership.
Engagement
- Part-time advisory role (estimated 5–15 hours per month).
- Flexible engagement structure (consultant or advisor basis).
