Responsibilities:
- Establish and optimize purchasing processes compliant with NQA-1 procedures.
- Source, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers, negotiating contracts to achieve optimal cost-efficiency.
- Coordinate logistics for raw material procurement, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Take purchase requests from engineering and manufacturing teams, convert them into RFQs, and track the resulting purchase orders through completion.
- Maintain meticulous records of purchasing activities and supplier performance.
- Proactively manage supplier relationships to guarantee material quality, availability, and cost control.
- Continuously track and report on material costs, seeking opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and transparency across procurement processes.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 2+ years in a supply chain position
Preferred Experience:
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience in procurement and supply chain management, ideally within regulated industries.
- Knowledge of and experience working with stringent quality programs such as ISO-9001 or similar.
- Exceptional communication skills; capable of clearly and effectively communicating across various internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management capabilities.
- Proactive mindset with a strong bias for action and problem-solving.
- Flexibility and availability to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by operational needs.
- Ability to manage projects independently from initial sourcing through to receipt of goods.
