Role Overview:

Aalyria's Spacetime team is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Platforms Infrastructure Software Engineer to join our core engineering team. We value engineers who have strong foundational skills in software development, infrastructure, automation, and DevOps practices, and are adaptable, proactive, and eager to tackle new challenges as we advance our technology. On the Spacetime team, you will play an integral role in developing and optimizing the internal platforms that keep our systems running, efficient, and stable, with the flexibility to contribute to and take ownership of various projects as both you and the company grow.

Key Responsibilities:

Our products are evolving rapidly and have generated a great deal of interest in the industry. This creates an exciting and continuous stream of innovative technical projects to dive into. Some examples of initiatives you might be a part of include:

  • Re-engineering the deployment strategy to support air-gapped systems.
  • Design solutions for stress testing and benchmarking candidate versions ahead of customer release.
  • Create internal tools to track code quality metrics, static analysis and potential vulnerabilities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
  • 5 years of experience with software development
  • Strong coding skills, experience with unit and integration tests
  • Experience in infrastructure and DevOps projects
  • Experience with performance, large scale systems data analysis, visualization tools, or debugging.

ITAR/EAR Requirements:

This position involves access to export-controlled information. To comply with U.S. government export regulations, applicants must meet one of the following criteria:


(A) Qualify as a U.S. person, which includes:

  • U.S. citizen or national
  • U.S. lawful permanent resident (green card holder)
  • Refugee under 8 U.S.C. 1157
  • Asylee under 8 U.S.C. 1158

(B) Be eligible to access export-controlled information without requiring an export authorization.


(C) Be eligible and reasonably likely to obtain the necessary export authorization from the appropriate U.S. government agency.

The pay range for this role is:

150,000 - 185,000 USD per year (San Francisco Bay Area)
