About the role

  • As an Account Manager, you will focus on fostering customer relationships and driving sales of refurbished medical devices. The Account Manager role emphasizes exceptional customer service, understanding client needs, and facilitating equipment acquisitions through various communication channels. This position is based out of Mokena, illinois.  

What you'll do

  • Drive Sales Growth: Achieve and exceed quota targets for the assigned territory.  
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships, maximizing satisfaction through urgency and responsiveness.  
  • Manage Sales Process: Own the entire pre- and post-sale process, guiding customers through purchasing, addressing concerns, and ensuring a successful outcome.  
  • Sales Forecasting: Maintain opportunities in the sales funnel and forecast orders/sales for the assigned territory. 
  • Product Expertise: Maintain detailed, up-to-date knowledge of AA Medical’s products/solutions, conducting demonstrations and answering questions for customers and colleagues.  
  • Collaboration: Work with suppliers and cross-functional teams to acquire equipment and achieve sales targets.  
  • Order & Logistics Coordination: Place orders accurately, coordinate logistics (shipping, tracking, fulfillment), and ensure timely delivery to meet customer deadlines. 

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience & Performance: Proven sales experience, ideally in medical device or healthcare industries, with a track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas. 
  • Sales Skills: Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills. Knowledge of medical equipment terminology and specifications is a plus. 
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities for in-person and phone interactions. 
  • Customer Focus: Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external customers in a solutions-based sales approach. 
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with online sales platforms and order processing systems. 
  • Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and highly organized. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
