About the role

The Inventory Control Assistant will support the Inventory Control Lead in maintaining accurate stock levels, executing daily cycle counts, and driving data integrity across all warehouse locations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring real-time accuracy within NetSuite, improving fulfillment efficiency, and assisting in ongoing organizational projects within Suites M and H.


The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment where accuracy and accountability are essential.


Key Responsibilities

Inventory Accuracy & Cycle Counting

  • Perform daily cycle counts (target: 10–15 SKUs per day depending on volume).
  • Record and document variances accurately for review by the Inventory Control Lead.
  • Conduct initial investigations into discrepancies and cross-check similar SKUs to identify systemic issues.
  • Maintain proper labeling, tagging, and tracking for all counted or adjusted inventory.

Warehouse Organization & Support

  • Assist in bin clean-up, consolidation, and restocking projects in Suites M and H.
  • Organize and maintain areas for quarantined, broken, or return-to-stock equipment.
  • Support labeling, tagging, and visual documentation initiatives (including 360° image uploads when implemented).
  • Collaborate with receiving, testing, and shipping departments to maintain consistent inventory flow and visibility.

Data Integrity & System Accuracy

  • Help monitor inventory transactions in NetSuite and report inconsistencies.
  • Ensure accuracy between physical stock and system-reported quantities.
  • Provide support in identifying and reducing unauthorized adjustments or duplicate transactions.

Process Improvement

  • Work closely with the Inventory Control Lead on ongoing efficiency projects.
  • Contribute to process documentation, SOP development, and warehouse layout improvements.
  • Participate in departmental meetings to identify and resolve recurring inventory challenges.


Qualifications

Required

  • 1–2 years of warehouse or inventory control experience.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and basic data entry.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to follow established procedures precisely.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in warehouse conditions.

Preferred

  • Experience using NetSuite or similar ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Odoo, etc.).
  • Knowledge of cycle counting, reconciliation, or root-cause analysis.
  • Familiarity with barcode scanners, labeling systems, and WMS tools.

Schedule

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (some flexibility required during month-end cycles).
  • Benefits: Full benefits package including health, dental, vision, PTO, and 401(k).

The pay range for this role is:

24 - 24 USD per hour (AA Medical Headquarters)
