About the role

  • The Cleaning Supervisor & Account Coordinator supports our Operations Manager by overseeing day-to-day custodial operations across multiple client locations in New Jersey and Philadelphia. This individual will lead and support frontline cleaning staff, ensure high service standards, maintain supply logistics, and act as the main point of contact between field staff and management.
  • This is a hands-on, field-based role for someone who is organized, bilingual (English/Spanish), people-focused, and ready to lead by example while keeping operations running smoothly—even on short notice.

Responsibilities

  • Train and Support Staff: Provide on-site training and mentorship to janitorial employees on cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and best practices.
  • Supervise Daily Operations: Monitor staff attendance, job performance, and adherence to cleaning standards at multiple locations.
  • Respond to Callouts: Address last-minute absences and coordinate quick coverage or personally step in to ensure uninterrupted service.
  • Onboarding & Hiring: Assist in recruiting and screening applicants for cleaning positions.
  • Communication Hub: Act as the bridge between field staff and the Operations Manager; communicate any concerns or updates promptly.
  • Emergency Readiness: Be available for emergency or after-hours needs, including weekends or evenings, as needed.
  • Safety Oversight: Report any accidents or injuries immediately and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Supply Chain: Submit and manage supply orders; deliver materials to teams as required.
  • Performance Management: Address employee performance issues with professionalism and care, escalating to management when necessary.
  • Represent the Company: Foster strong client relationships and uphold our reputation for quality and reliability.

Qualifications

  • Commercial Cleaning Experience: Previous supervisory experience in commercial janitorial services strongly preferred.
  • Tech Proficiency: Comfortable using mobile apps and scheduling platforms to manage staff and time tracking.
  • Bilingual Required: Must speak and write fluently in English and Spanish to support our diverse team.
  • Strong Communication & Attention to Detail: You’ll need both to succeed in this fast-paced, people-oriented role.
  • Results-Oriented Mindset: Able to think on your feet, problem-solve in real time, and take initiative.
  • Valid Driver’s License: Required. A company car and phone will be provided for work-related travel and communication.
  • Dependable & Flexible: Must be responsive and adaptable to meet the needs of clients and staff, even outside regular business hours.

Technological Requirements

  • In order to properly track time and attendance and communicate with supervisors, the team member must possess a functional smartphone with a data plan that can download our application (iOS and Android devices). Time keeping by mobile application is MANDATORY.

Language Requirements

  • Speak and write clearly in both English and Spanish
  • Communicate professionally with clients and internal staff
  • Follow written and verbal instructions with minimal supervision

Physical Demands

    Must be able to perform manual tasks requiring strength and be in good physical health
  • While performing the duties of the job, the team member is continuously required to reach with hands and arms. The team member continually is required to stand, step, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch and bend. Standing may be required during the entire shift (often 4 - 8 hours). The team member is repetitively required to use hands and fingers, to handle objects and equipment and to push and pull, to climb and balance and to talk and hear.  The team member must repeatedly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus

The pay range for this role is:

18 - 22 USD per hour (Able - Main Office)
