We’re seeking a Vice President of Customer Success to join our leadership team. This high-impact role will collaborate across Sales, Product, Support, and Marketing to shape the overall customer experience and ensure our platform delivers exceptional value to employers of all sizes. You’ll lead a talented Customer Success organization focused on advocacy, retention, adoption, and expansion, driving measurable outcomes and inspiring customer success across AbsenceSoft.
What you'll do
- Define and execute a customer-first strategy that drives long-term value, satisfaction, and retention across a diverse customer base.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a growing Customer Success team, building a scalable structure that supports SMBs through large enterprises.
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Engineering to align on customer needs, influence product development, and drive account expansion.
- Oversee customer onboarding and adoption to ensure seamless transitions from Sales to Success and maximize ROI for every customer.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce churn, increase retention, and identify growth opportunities within existing accounts.
- Establish and track KPIs to measure customer health and team performance, reporting regularly to executive leadership.
- Champion the voice of the customer across the organization, fostering a culture of advocacy and proactive engagement.
- Participate in a highly compliant environment while helping maintain company controls and security within your role.
- Assist in maintaining applicable organizational security and compliance controls within your department, role, and your team’s roles.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.
What you'll bring
- 10+ years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or similar leadership roles within B2B SaaS.
- 5+ years of experience in the HR technology ecosystem (HRIS, payroll, or leave tech).
- Proven success scaling high-performing teams and driving retention and expansion strategies.
- Strong leadership, communication, and executive presentation skills.
- Data-driven decision-making approach with strong analytical capabilities.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence across functions.
- (Preferred) Experience in HR tech, compliance-driven SaaS, or familiarity with SDLC.
- (Preferred) Advanced degree such as an MBA or master’s in Business, HR, or related field.

- Compensation Transparency. Compensation range for this position is $200k - $240k annually, dependong on experience and location.
