Product Manager III

We’re seeking a Product Manager III who is an experienced product professional and operates with a high degree of independence. In this role, you’ll be responsible for guiding the direction, execution, and continuous improvement of a product area. You’ll apply strong product judgment to navigate ambiguity, evaluate complex trade-offs, and lead through influence. By combining a deep understanding of customer needs, product strategy, and underlying technology, you’ll help shape both near-term execution and the long-term health and growth of the product.


WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Own and manage the product lifecycle for platform capabilities including processing pipelines, data infrastructure, authentication systems, and analytics tooling
  • Collaborate with Engineering on API design, data models, integration patterns, and system architecture decisions
  • Drive implementation of authentication, authorization, and data access controls that meet security and compliance requirements
  • Work with Business Intelligence and Analytics teams to ensure data availability, quality, and performance for reporting needs
  • Support ingestion tooling and data pipeline development to enable seamless customer onboarding and data management
  • Monitor platform performance, reliability metrics, and adoption, using insights to prioritize improvements
  • Own delivery, scope, and roadmap execution for a product team with established product-market fit
  • Prioritize product work across roadmap items, customer escalations, technical needs, and strategic priorities
  • Act as the gatekeeper to minimize distractions and maintain focus for the product team
  • Continuously analyze product insights, performance metrics, and customer input to identify opportunities
  • Recommend new problems to solve and scope product improvements based on insights and trends
  • Drive feature enhancements and manage feature sunsetting to optimize product value and health
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and program partners to maintain alignment and shared clarity
  • Create clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and product documentation
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure the backlog remains organized and actionable
  • Communicate product direction and updates across Product, Engineering, and broader stakeholders
  • Engage in foundational and directional research to deepen understanding of customer needs
  • Foster a strong team culture grounded in clarity, openness, feedback, and shared understanding
  • Participate in a highly compliant environment while assisting to maintain company controls and security within your job role


What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, information systems, or related field; or equivalent experience
  • 2 - 3 years of product management experience owning scope and delivery cycles for a product team or product area
  • Strong understanding of platform architecture, APIs, data systems, modern infrastructure patterns, data processing pipelines, and ETL concepts
  • Familiarity with product analytics, user research, and modern product development practices
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize effectively across competing demands and protect team focus while managing multiple concurrent projects
  • Ability to synthesize insights from research, data, and customer feedback into clear product decisions
  • Strong communication skills that build company-wide understanding and trust on product and engineering topics
  • Curious mindset that challenges assumptions and deepens knowledge of customers, data, and market context
  • Inclusive, empathetic collaboration style that fosters environments where diverse viewpoints influence decisions
  • Ability to implement and improve product processes while operating autonomously
  • Knowledge of AI tools and concepts
  • Experience in SaaS, high-growth, or startup environments preferred
  • Background in HR technology, leave management, or accommodations software a plus
  • Familiarity with authentication systems (SSO, OAuth, SAML), authorization frameworks, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) a plus

The pay range for this role is:

123,320 - 154,150 USD per year (US National)
