Business Analyst III

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Business Analyst III to play a key role in the successful implementation of our leave management platform. In this role, you’ll partner directly with customers to understand their business needs, configure the system to meet requirements, manage data, and ensure an exceptional onboarding experience. As a subject matter expert, you’ll bridge the gap between customer requirements and system capabilities, working cross-functionally to deliver seamless implementations.


What you'll do

  • Partner directly with customers to understand their business processes, needs, and goals related to leave management.
  • Configure the AbsenceSoft platform to meet customer requirements, including workflows, rules, and user access.
  • Manage data intake, validation, and migration activities to ensure accurate system setup.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for AbsenceSoft capabilities, providing best-practice guidance.
  • Facilitate implementation workshops, training sessions, and onboarding for customers.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure customer requirements are accurately translated into system functionality.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including process flows and configuration guides.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate solutions against customer needs.
  • Monitor post-implementation performance and provide recommendations for optimization.
  • Mentor and guide junior Business Analysts and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Implementation Consultant in a SaaS or enterprise software environment.
  • Proven experience with system configuration, data management, and process implementation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical configurations.
  • Experience with data migration, validation, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Visio.
  • Experience in HR technology, leave management, or compliance-driven software preferred.
  • Professional certification (CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent) a plus.
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and customer-focused mindset.

  • Compensation Transparency. Compensation range for this position is $85k - $100k annually, depending on experience and location.
