The Role:

We are seeking a Global Equity & Compensation Specialist to manage our global equity programs in Shareworks and support compensation processes across People, Finance, Payroll, and Legal. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and a seamless employee experience in all areas of equity and compensation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, system-savvy, and professional, serving as the primary contact for employees on equity-related matters. This position reports to the Global Head of People.

 

Responsibilities:

·       Shareworks Administration


  • Serve as the primary administrator for all global employee equity programs in Shareworks, ensuring accurate and timely processing of grants, vesting, exercises, and terminations.
  • Oversee the integrity and accuracy of all equity data, including grants, RSU releases, terminations, and ESPP allocations.
  • Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations of data between Shareworks, HRIS (Rippling), Payroll, and Finance to ensure data integrity and audit readiness.
  • Manage and maintain the Shareworks–HRIS integration, ensuring seamless data flow and accurate recordkeeping.
  • Administer the Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), including enrollment periods, contributions, purchases, and post-purchase operations.
  • Monitor employee mobility (cross-border moves) and manage related impacts on grants, vesting, taxation, and compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with global equity regulations and reporting obligations, coordinating with Finance, Legal, and external advisors.
  • Support audits and reviews, providing documentation and reports for auditors and internal stakeholders.
  • Continuously review and propose process improvements and system enhancements to increase accuracy, automation, and overall efficiency.
  • Partner with technology providers and service partners (e.g., Shareworks, Addition Wealth, HRIS vendors) to ensure high-quality support, system reliability, and compliance with service-level agreements.
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts, including issue tracking, performance monitoring, renewals, and identifying opportunities for improvement based on recurring issues or system gaps.
  • Manage shadow ESPP and shadow equity programs for EOR or other non-qualified employees.

·       Employee Communication & Support

  • Respond directly to employee inquiries about equity plans, Shareworks, and ESPP participation.
  • Maintain and update educational materials and internal equity-site content, ensuring employees have clear, accessible guidance.
  • Manage the relationship with Addition Wealth and other employee-education partners to enhance understanding of equity programs.
  • Support total rewards communications, helping employees understand the value of their compensation and equity.

·       Compensation Operations

  • Partner with Leadership and Finance to build and run clear, consistent pay processes, including annual reviews for merit, bonuses, and promotions.
  • Create and maintain a simple, reliable structure for compensation data — setting up salary ranges, job levels, and tracking systems within the HRIS.
  • Develop regular reporting and dashboards to help leaders understand compensation trends, equity, and total rewards across the company.
  • Gather and analyze market data to support competitive pay decisions, and help identify areas where we can improve pay equity.
  • Work with Finance on budgeting and forecasting for compensation and equity, keeping plans organized and aligned.

 

Experience / Qualifications

  • 3+ years of hands-on equity administration experience in a public company environment.
  • Proven expertise in Shareworks is mandatory. 
  • Experience administering ESPP programs and managing global equity plans is required.
  • Familiarity with compensation administration, HRIS data management, and total rewards reporting.
  • Experience with Rippling is a plus.
  • Knowledge of equity taxation, accounting, and global compliance requirements.

  • Experience collaborating closely with Finance, Payroll, Legal, and People teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain data integrity across systems.
  • Strong communication and employee support skills, able to explain complex equity and compensation concepts clearly.
  • Experience working with compensation benchmarking platforms such as Aon Radford, Mercer, Towers Watson, or similar is a strong plus
  • CEP, CEPI, or CCP certification preferred.
  • Global exposure or experience managing programs across multiple jurisdictions preferred.
