The Role
The Director of Enrollment plays a key leadership role in ensuring prospective students and families experience a smooth, supportive, and high-quality path into Acceleration Academies by developing the key drivers of enrollment performance, creating the metrics, guiding pipeline management, strengthening conversion throughout the funnel, accelerating speed to contact, and maintaining consistent progress toward enrollment goals.

This role sets clear expectations, maintains visibility into performance, identifies trends early, and leads thoughtful enhancements that improve responsiveness, accuracy, and overall enrollment outcomes. It creates an environment where staff feel motivated, supported, and equipped to deliver fast, precise, and compassionate enrollment experiences while always keeping Acceleration Academy’s mission and the student’s journey at the center of every decision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide network-wide strategic leadership and oversight for enrollment operations across all Acceleration Academies locations.
  • Develop annual and monthly enrollment plans, including goals, pipeline strategy, and pacing guidance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop the school-specific enrollment forecasts and deliver accurate weekly, monthly, and annual projections grounded in pipeline trends and pacing-to-goal.
  • Monitor key metrics such as new enrollments, conversion rates, speed to contact, follow-up expectations, and overall funnel performance.
  • Analyze performance by academy, staff member, lead source, demographic group, and funnel stage to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Address performance gaps quickly and implement data-informed strategies to strengthen conversion throughout the pipeline.
  • Ensure rapid response standards, timely follow-up, and effective engagement that support inquiry progression and enrollment readiness.
  • Partner with Regional Vice Presidents and Academy Directors to align on enrollment needs, pacing expectations, and onboarding pathways.
  • Partner with Registrars to ensure timely and accurate completion of enrollment requirements and smooth transitions into onboarding.
  • Partner with Marketing to refine lead quality, nurture sequences, and alignment between lead flow and enrollment goals.
  • Collaborate with Data and Technology teams to maintain CRM accuracy, enhance reporting, and support workflow improvements.
  • Oversee dashboards that provide visibility into individual, team, and funnel-stage performance.
  • Lead workforce planning, scheduling, and coverage to support consistent enrollment momentum.
  • Review enrollment interactions for accuracy and quality, and coach staff to strengthen communication and conversion skills.
  • Maintain and refine SOPs, scripts, protocols, and quality expectations to ensure consistent, compliant enrollment practices.
  • Ensure compliance with district partner requirements, state regulations, FERPA guidelines, and internal policies.
  • Provide senior leadership with clear insights, forecasts, risks, and operational recommendations.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives that elevate conversion, productivity, and the overall enrollment experience.


What We’re Looking For

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • Five or more years of progressive experience in enrollment, recruitment, sales, or related operations leadership, preferably in K to 12, alternative education, or workforce development sectors.
  • Proven experience developing and operationalizing enrollment metrics, including pipeline pacing, conversion targets, follow-up expectations, and speed-to-contact standards.
  • Demonstrated success leading a metrics-driven team accountable for new enrollments, conversion improvement, and consistent progress toward goals.
  • Strong background in pipeline forecasting, trend analysis, and data-driven decision making at a strategic and operational level.
  • Experience designing and optimizing enrollment workflows, performance frameworks, and operational practices that support efficiency and strong outcomes.
  • Advanced proficiency with CRM platforms, dialer tools, reporting systems, and workflow automation, with the ability to define reporting needs and guide dashboard development.
  • Ability to identify performance challenges, design solutions, and lead cross-functional alignment that improves pipeline performance.
  • Experience overseeing a remote team with a focus on team scheduling and staffing structures to support enrollment momentum and operational effectiveness.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to synthesize data, influence senior leaders, and translate insights into clear operational action.
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to set direction, motivate staff, and build a positive, high-performance, mission-driven team culture.
  • High degree of professionalism, sound judgment, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
