Senior Full Stack Developer

The Senior Full Stack Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications within an Advanced Software and Enterprise Solutions team. This role involves managing software development projects, performing detailed analyses, and ensuring the integration of advanced methodologies and tools. The ideal candidate has 5 to 8 years of experience in software development, with a demonstrated ability to manage projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.


Duties and responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, and ensure best practices in coding standards.
  • Conduct comprehensive testing, including unit, integration, and system testing, to ensure software quality and functionality.
  • Debug and resolve complex software defects and issues.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation related to software development.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all documentation.
  • Foster effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Communicate complex technical information clearly and effectively.
  • Utilize advanced software development tools and methodologies to support project requirements.
  • Integrate software development tools and methodologies into the workflow to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Manage software development projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.


Required Qualifications:

  • Currently hold an active U.S. security clearance.
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in software development or a related discipline such as:
  • Proficiency in software development principles and methodologies.
  • Advanced proficiency in relevant programming languages (e.g., Java, C++, Python).
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Object-oriented programming (OOP) experience
  • RDBMS/SQL Database design and development
  • Experience developing full-stack Web Applications
  • Experience developing REST APIs


Desired Qualifications:

  • Current CompTIA Security + Certification
  • Experience with Typescript/Express and FastAPI frameworks
  • Experience with PostgreSQL
  • Experience with a modern JavaScript framework (Angular, React, etc.)
  • Experience with software development frameworks and libraries.
  • In-depth understanding of the aerospace and defense industry.
  • Knowledge of DoD software development policies and requirements


Clearance Requirements 

Some positions will require access to U.S. National Security information.  Positions that require this access will be required to receive and maintain a U.S. government personnel security clearance (PCL).  In order to qualify for this position, the candidate must be a US Citizen and either currently possess this National Security eligibility or be able to complete the investigation application process with a favorable determination and maintain that eligibility throughout their employment. The listed pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this position for the location for which it has been posted and is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. The pay range for this role is:

130,000 - 150,000 USD per year (Remote (United States))
