Office Manager

We're seeking an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Office Manager to support day-to-day operations at our Falls Church, VA office. This is a junior-to-mid-level position ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is looking to grow into a career supporting national security efforts. In this role, you’ll oversee a wide range of office administration responsibilities, including facilities coordination, vendor management, and employee logistics. Over time, you will be trained and mentored to take on responsibilities related to security compliance and facility clearance operations in support of the company’s Facility Security Officer (FSO).


Responsibilities:


  • Oversee daily office operations, including supply management, mail handling, vendor coordination, and general workspace upkeep
  • Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for employees, guests, and external vendors
  • Coordinate logistics for team meetings, office events, and new hire onboarding activities
  • Collaborate with HR and IT to ensure seamless setup of workstations, systems access, and welcome processes for new employees
  • Maintain accurate office documentation, signage, and organizational systems to support an efficient and professional environment
  • Support day-to-day security protocols, including access control, visitor coordination, and adherence to physical security standards
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth facility operations and resolve office-related issues proactively
  • Partner with the Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO) to begin hands-on training in security operations and compliance
  • Assist with security documentation, compliance reporting, and facility clearance procedures as part of long-term development into an FSO-support role

Additional Security & FSO Support Responsibilities (Training Provided)

  • Support the company’s AFSO and leadership team with administrative security tasks
  • Assist with personnel clearance processing, visit requests, and recordkeeping
  • Participate in training to develop a foundational understanding of NISPOM and industrial security compliance
  • Help maintain secure office procedures and documentation

Required Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship (required for clearance eligibility)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
  • 1–3 years of experience in office coordination, executive support, or administrative roles
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working on-site in a professional office setting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general office tech

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience at a government contractor or in a cleared environment
  • Exposure to security or compliance workflows
  • Interest in developing a career in security, compliance, or operations




Clearance Information: This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. Work Environment & Remote Meeting Expectations: Our work environment operates on a remote/hybrid model, balancing flexibility with the need for in-person collaboration. Employees are expected to work in-office on designated days to foster engagement with the team. Outside of these days, employees may telework with supervisor approval, provided they adhere to communication protocols and effectively fulfill their work responsibilities. Travel may be required to customer and subcontractor sites, as well as other office locations.
