We’re seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead the M&A growth strategy at Accruity. This is a leadership role where you’ll spearhead acquisitions, drive financial clarity, and support the leadership team in scaling a high-growth accounting firm from $3.5M to $50M+.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead M&A Growth – Source, analyze, structure, and close acquisitions of accounting firms, ensuring successful integration into Accruity’s culture and systems.
- Drive Financial Strategy – Build models, track CAC to LTV, gross margins, and fulfillment efficiency to guide growth decisions.
- Leadership Team – Partner with the CEO, COO, and Integrator to provide financial insights, accountability, and alignment.
- Build KPI Accountability – Design and implement dashboards that hold teams accountable to key growth and profitability metrics.
- Optimize Sales & Fulfillment – Ensure revenue growth translates into healthy margins and client retention across service lines.
- Champion Integration – Oversee the financial and operational integration of acquired firms to achieve synergies and scale.
What We’re Looking For:
- CPA, CFA, MBA or equivalent background in finance and M&A.
- 10+ years of experience in finance, corporate development, or executive leadership with direct M&A exposure.
- Proven success in scaling a professional services or accounting firm
- Deep knowledge of CAC, LTV, gross margins, and recurring revenue business models.
- Strong ability to analyze deals, negotiate terms, and manage integration.
- Leadership style that is data-driven, accountable, and collaborative in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation:
- Base Salary - $150,000 - $250,000 (based on experience)
- Performance-Based Bonus – Tied to revenue growth, margin targets, and successful acquisitions.
- M&A Incentives – Bonus per closed acquisition and value-creation participation in integrated firms.
