About The Role
Acres is seeking a Graphic Designer to join our team in Fayetteville, AR. The Graphic Designer will sit within the marketing team, helping to tell our brand story and take our national market presence to the next level by creating design and marketing collateral to promote Acres through digital and print media.
In this role, you will help create design and marketing collateral, focusing on website graphics, deck templates, signage, print and digital advertisements. The ideal candidate is an analytical and creative designer who pursues customer satisfaction and message clarity in all aspects of design deliverables.
This position will be working within a startup environment that requires flexibility and nimbleness with good communication and willingness to make a real contribution to the team. As at any growing company, you can expect many other tasks and responsibilities to be assigned as well as growth opportunities to be seized.
This is a full-time onsite summer internship (40 hours/week for 3 months) and, upon successful completion of the summer internship, this position with transition to a full-time onsite position.
Core Responsibilities
- Create assets to support Acres.com, corporate communications, and culture initiatives
- Produce a wide variety of assets including website graphics, landing pages, digital ads, print ads, downloadable guides, social graphics, product sheets, case studies, printed brochures, and event materials
- Maintain our brand guidelines, updating as needed based on direction
- Collaborate well across other teams to produce assets that meet the needs of each department while maintaining our brand standards
- Own key design asset templates such as sales deck and keep files updated and accessible to appropriate parties
- Manage intake of work and communicate workload concerns proactively
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand user needs, requirements, and business goals
- Within 30 days, develop a deep understanding of Acres business and customer offerings
- Understand Acres mission and core values
- Be able to defend thoughts and ideas internally in a professional manner when challenged
- Take on special projects and other duties as assigned
