Role Overview: AMS is excited to announce its search for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to continue generating growth opportunities for our Sales organization. The BDR will be a proactive and dynamic team member looking to drive AMS’ business expansion efforts. The BDR position will involve prospecting, qualifying leads, and setting up meetings for the sales team. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, possess strong communication skills, and have an aptitude for working in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience developing leads in the insurance or healthcare space is preferred.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Identify and research potential leads through various channels, including social media, contact databases, industry events, referrals, and more.
  • Outreach: Conduct outbound outreach via phone, email, and social media to engage with potential clients and introduce them to AMS' products and services.
  • Qualification: Assess and qualify leads based on predetermined criteria to ensure they align with the company's target market and potential for conversion.
  • Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings and product demos for the sales team with qualified leads, ensuring a smooth handoff.
  • Database Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of interactions and leads in the CRM system (Zoho experience is a plus).
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales, Clinical, Product, and Customer Success team to align strategies and share insights on lead generation and market trends.
  • Reporting: Track and report on key performance metrics, such as lead generation volume, conversion rates, and pipeline progress.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a healthcare-related field preferred.
  • Experience: 2-3 years’ experience in a sales or business development role is a plus. Previous insurance or healthcare experience is highly preferred, particularly in the health plan, hospital, self-funded insurance, or payment integrity markets.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and engage prospects.
    • Proficiency in CRM software (i.e. Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint)
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management skills.

Suggested Pay Range:

·         $60,000 - $85,000 commensurate with experience and education

·         2-3 weeks’ vacation
