Job Title: Release Manager

Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role:

We are seeking a Release Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of software releases across our SaaS and On-prem platforms. In this role, you will work closely with Engineering, QA, Product management, Support and Customer Success to ensure the successful deployment of high-quality software to our production environments. You will be responsible for managing risks, resolving release issues, and continuously improving the release process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate releases across multiple teams and environments, ensuring all components are delivered on time and with high quality.
• Develop and maintain release schedules that align with the company’s roadmap and delivery goals.
• Establish and manage release processes, change management, and documentation.
• Facilitate release readiness reviews, and post-release retrospectives.
• Work closely with DevOps to improve deployment efficiency
• Collaborate with QA Leads to ensure thorough testing coverage and defect resolution prior to releases.
• Track release metrics and report on release health, frequency, and quality.
• Coordinate hotfixes, rollbacks, and Off-Cycle releases as needed.
• Identify and mitigate risks and issues related to release schedules or quality.
• Communicate release status to stakeholders and maintain transparency throughout the lifecycle.

Requirements:

Must-Have:

·       8-10 years of experience in a Release Management role or similar.

• Proven experience as a Release Manager or in a similar role in a SaaS or cloud-based software environment.
• Strong understanding of deployment pipelines, deployment tools, and release automation.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Excellent Written and Oral communication skills.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies.
• Background in software development, QA, or systems engineering.
