This role is hybrid, requiring three days per week onsite in our Needham, MA headquarters.

The Performance and Reporting team is a critical function within the Investment Data Operations (IDO) department, responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and high-quality investment performance data to financial advisors and their clients. This data underpins strategic decision-making, portfolio monitoring, and client reporting. The team’s primary responsibilities include the preparation, validation, and distribution of performance-related reports, including quarterly investment statements.

The Investment Data Reporting Analyst II plays a key role in managing the end-to-end quarterly statement process, supporting reporting infrastructure, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and maintaining the integrity of financial data across multiple reporting channels.

 Here’s What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the full lifecycle of the quarterly investment statement process, including pre-quarter setup, production oversight, post-quarter adjustments, and ad hoc reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal development teams and third-party vendors to ensure timely and accurate statement generation and delivery.
  • Respond to advisor inquiries and provide subject matter expertise on quarterly statements, investment data, and related reports (e.g., asset allocation, holdings, performance, fixed income).
  • Partner with project managers and analysts to gather and document business requirements for new reporting initiatives; clearly articulate investment-related calculations and business logic.
  • Ensure the accuracy and reliability of daily reports; work closely with development teams to resolve data anomalies and implement report enhancements.
  • Coordinate and execute testing of bug fixes and feature enhancements related to reporting tools and investment statements.
  • Collaborate with technical writing resources to develop comprehensive documentation and training materials.
  • Act as a liaison with third-party print and fulfillment vendors to confirm successful processing and delivery of statements.
  • Engage in ongoing training and professional development to stay current on industry trends, tools, and best practices.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • 2–4 years of experience in the financial services industry, with an emphasis on investment reporting, data operations, or performance analytics.
  • Solid understanding of investment reporting principles, performance calculations, and portfolio accounting concepts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets; familiarity with SQL and portfolio accounting platforms preferred.
  • Experience with collaboration and workflow tools such as Jira, Confluence, and/or ServiceNow is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Clear and confident communication skills; capable of working effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated accountability, sound judgment, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-impact team that supports core advisor services through precision, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and are passionate about operational excellence in investment reporting, we encourage you to apply.
