Agent Architect / AI Systems Engineer

At Advisor360°, we build technology that transforms how wealth management firms operate, scale, and serve their clients. As a leading SaaS platform in the fintech space, we’re trusted by some of the largest independent broker-dealers and RIAs to power the full advisor and client experience—from portfolio construction and reporting to compliance and client engagement.

What sets us apart? It's not just the tech (though it's best-in-class). It's the people, the purpose, and the passion behind everything we do.

We’re a team of builders, thinkers, and doers who believe that great companies are defined by the stories they tell and the experiences they create—internally and externally. We bring deep industry expertise, a collaborative spirit, and a commitment to innovation as we reshape what’s possible in wealth management.

As we grow, we’re looking for teammates who are ready to roll up their sleeves, think big, and help elevate our brand in a way that reflects the bold ambitions we have for our company and the clients we serve.

Join us, and be part of a company that's not only moving fast—but making it count.

This role is hybrid, requiring three days per week onsite in our Needham, MA headquarters.

We’re hiring a senior engineer to help evolve and apply our existing agentic framework across various high-leverage use cases. This role is for someone who knows how to make LLM agents production-ready—reliable, observable, testable—and can collaborate closely with product, infra, and UI teams to build polished AI-powered workflows.

This is a systems design and application role, not a prompt engineering role. You’ll work within a flexible orchestration architecture that already supports multi-agent interaction, memory, and tool, but you'll be responsible for pushing it further, making it robust, modular, and usable across domains.

This role is less about inventing something new and more about hardening and evolving what’s already working; making agents more testable, observable, and composable; improving memory, tool routing, and failure handling at scale; and helping product teams translate real world workflows into modular, agentic flows. You'll be at the center of the effort to operationalize AI across the organization, ensuring we don't just build smarter agents, but build them in a way that others can trust, extend, and scale.

Here’s What You’ll Do:

  • Own the technical design and implementation of agent-based solutions on top of our in-house orchestration framework.
  • Define clean, composable interfaces for tools, workflows, memory, and interaction patterns.
  • Work with product teams to map real-world use cases into structured agent plans and reusable capabilities.
  • Implement and improve agent behaviors, retries, fallbacks, feedback integration, and context management.
  • Design lightweight infrastructure for observability, logging, trace analysis, and evaluation.
  • Help mature the framework into something other teams can use with minimal AI expertise.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • 5+ years backend engineering experience (Python or .NET preferred).
  • Experience working with LLM APIs, orchestration patterns, and memory/context strategies.
  • Familiarity with tools and task routing, retry logic, evals, token budgeting, and latency tradeoffs.
  • Ability to work across boundaries—infra, backend, orchestration, and even product.
  • You’ve shipped agentic or orchestration-based systems in real-world products.
  • You’re comfortable thinking in terms of systems, interfaces, and constraints, not just prompts or model outputs.
  • You’ve built and debugged distributed systems and can bridge LLM behavior with conventional backend practices.
  • You can balance speed and structure—writing early-stage code that doesn't collapse under scale or complexity.

Bonus If You Have:

  • Experience with LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, semantic routers, or similar tooling.
  • Built or integrated feedback collection, logging, or trace analysis into AI workflows.
  • Comfortable mentoring others and setting early engineering standards for a new domain.
