About the role
Advocate Technologies is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Client Onboarding Specialist to support client onboarding, technical integrations, and ongoing client account management.
You will play a key role in onboarding new clients onto the Advocate platform, ensuring smooth data transfer, system configuration, and quality assurance. You will be part of the Client Solutions Team, operations stakeholders, and product teams to translate client needs into workflows, provide training, and support technical integrations.
Key Responsibilities
Client Onboarding
• Assist with onboarding tasks including data collection, transfer, reconciliation, and account setup within the Advocate platform.
• Understand onboarding requirements, loan and asset information, and program specifications to configure accounts accurately.
• Perform quality assurance to ensure data integrity and alignment with client expectations.
• Support end-to-end project management for onboarding engagements.
• Develop a strong technical understanding of the platform, current features, and upcoming product roadmap.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to shape client workflows and contribute to standard operating procedures.
• Assist in drafting and maintaining process documentation and product guides.
Technical Account Management
• Serve and operate as the technical point of contact for designated accounts.
• Join client calls to identify integration needs, product challenges, and feature requests.
• Act as a trusted partner to clients by surfacing product issues or enhancements back to internal teams.
• Co-ordinate project management needs to track, consolidate and execute against key client initiatives.
Client Support & Training
• Investigate client-reported issues and escalate bugs or feature requests appropriately.
• Provide client training sessions and support change management during new rollouts or transitions.
Requirements
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in managing client data and workflows.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple projects and client onboarding timelines.
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with operations, product, and engineering teams.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and structured workflow or CRM platforms.
• Will be considered a plus: familiarity with REST API fundamentals, integration testing, and technical documentation.
