Job Description:

We are seeking a forward-thinking 3D Simulation Professional to support the design, analysis, and optimization of automated material handling systems. This role is ideal for someone with deep expertise in simulation and emulation technologies, 3D modeling, and AI integration. You will play a key role in developing digital representations of conveyor systems, robotics, AS/RS, AGVs, AMRs and other automated equipment using platforms like FlexSim, while leveraging AI tools to enhance system intelligence and predictive capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain 3D simulation models of automated material handling systems using FlexSim, Emulate 3D and other industry-standard software tools.
•   Conduct emulation studies to test control logic, PLC integration, and system performance under various operational scenarios.
• Integrate AI tools to optimize system throughput, predict bottlenecks, and support decision-making.
• Collaborate with engineering, controls, and operations teams to gather system requirements and translate them into accurate simulation models.
• Analyze simulation outputs to identify inefficiencies and recommend design or process improvements.
• Support virtual commissioning efforts and digital twin development for real-time system monitoring.
• Document modeling processes and present findings to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with FlexSim, Emulate 3D or similar simulation platforms (e.g., AnyLogic, Siemens Plant Simulation).
• Proficiency in AI tools and frameworks (e.g., Python-based ML libraries, reinforcement learning, predictive analytics).
• Strong understanding of automated equipment such as conveyors, sorters, robotics, AGVs and autonomous mobile robots (AMRs)
• Experience with 3D modeling tools and CAD software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in warehouse automation, manufacturing, or logistics environments.
• Familiarity with PLCs, SCADA systems, and industrial control logic.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Lua) for simulation customization.
• Exposure to digital twin technologies and real-time data integration.
• AS/AR Systems experience.
