About the role


We are seeking a Human Machine Interface (HMI) Engineer to join our growing automation team. This is a hands-on role with the opportunity to design, develop, and deploy HMI solutions for conveyor and sortation systems, with a strong focus on user experience and system diagnostics.

 

What you'll do

  • Design and develop HMI systems using platforms such as Indu soft and Aveva Edge.
  • Build intuitive interfaces that visually represent conveyor systems, including fault detection, jam indicators, and motor diagnostics.
  • Integrate SCADA and MDS systems to provide real-time feedback and control.
  • Create interactive dashboards that allow customers to click into machine components and view operational status and fault details.
  • Collaborate with logistics partners to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
  • Work closely with software engineers and automation specialists to build scalable, maintainable systems.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience in HMI development, SCADA systems, or industrial automation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
  • Familiarity with  Indu soft, Aveva Edge, or similar HMI software packages.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and translate them into functional HMI layouts.
  • Strong understanding of conveyor systems and industrial controls.
  • Experience with fault detection, diagnostics, and user interface design.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
