About the role

Travel: 75%


Across all functions of Aegis, the Quality and EHS (QHSE) Team drives Aegis toward standardized processes, procedures, and outputs that align with customer expectations, internal specifications, and relevant regulations. You work in cross-functional collaboration to maintain an empowered, proactive safety culture at an Aegis jobsite. This role ensures that Aegis and its subcontractors execute the project to meet the defined quality assurance standards and requirements. By limiting lost revenue due to poor quality and safety incidents, the QHSE Team supports Aegis’ vision of becoming the best integrator on the planet


What you'll do

  • Conduct toolbox talks and safety topics in huddles, promoting a proactive safety culture.
  • Complete and/or coordinate audits of mechanical and electrical installation according to published standards and customer specifications
  • Implement corrective actions for identified safety and quality issues and review weekly to ensure timely resolution
  • Perform risk assessments and support Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) development
  • Perform weekly safety walks and drive site coordination to resolve findings.
  • Track and report safety violation events quarterly to reduce occurrences.
  • Track scheduled audits and corrective actions to project schedule to ensure timely completion.
  • Implement strategies to decrease the cost of poor quality and review results monthly, comparing quarterly.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of quality experience in construction.
  • OSHA 30 Construction (Required)
  • Solid Understanding of mechanical and electrical codes, standards, and best practices.
  • Proficient in reading design drawings, technical specification standards in commercial construction.
  • Experience upholding safety standards and conducting safety meetings.
  • Experience conducting QA/QC Inspections of equipment, materials, and installation work.
  • Prior experience collaborating with site and project stakeholders to identify, document, and coordinate correction of non-compliance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with M365 office tools and Autodesk Construction Cloud (preferred).
  • Background in conveyor or material handling installation projects (preferred)
