About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to oversee our end-to-end shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations across multiple facilities. This role is responsible for managing logistics, deploying and maintaining our Warehouse Management System (WMS), and ensuring accurate inventory control to support project timelines and customer demands. The ideal candidate will work closely with project managers, supply chain teams, and external partners to coordinate material deliveries, resolve quality issues, and optimize inventory levels while minimizing costs.

What you'll do

  • Lead the company’s overall shipping, receiving and warehouse operations functions.
  • Oversee all shipments to Aegis warehouses, fabricators, subcontractors, and project sites.
  • Manage and deploy Warehouse Management System (WMS) across multiple facilities.
  • Manage and ensure the accuracy of inventory data for the company across multiple facilities.
  • Work closely with project managers in material delivery scheduling across multiple projects.
  • Coordinate off-site warehouse workflow.
  • Responsible for inventory management across multiple sites and facilities
  • Oversight of logistics function
  • Work closely with Supply Chain/Procurement department to obtain raw materials, components, and fabricated assemblies.
  • Laison for quality issues arriving from shipping and receiving.
  • Manage and Monitor inventory levels to meet customer demands while minimizing carrying costs.
  • Assist in raw material and finished assembly forecasting.
  • Develop strategic solutions for enterprise-wide material inventory management.
  • Ensure safe practices are implemented across all operating facilities.
  • Standardize policies and procedures for inventory manage for the company.
  • Forecast and prioritize workload for teams based on sales and project forecasts.
  • Optimizing space and handling of materials to drive efficiencies.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in warehouse operations, project management, or a relevant warehouse or logistics role.
  • 5+ years of experience in a high volume, high cycle warehousing environment.
  • 5+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Suite tools and systems for tracking shipments and managing inventory.
  • An analytical, problem-solving personality with the ability to negotiate and build relationships with vendors.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, and external partners.
  • Knowledge of materials management, distribution center operations, and supply chain principles. Forklift operation certification or ability to obtain forklift operation certification.
