About the role

Across all functions of Aegis, the QA / Safety group drives Aegis toward standardized processes, procedures, and outputs that align with customer expectations, internal specifications, and relevant external regulations. As a Quality and EHS (QHSE) Specialist, you support project execution on dedicated worksites. By collaborating with site operations management and the larger project leadership team, you ensure that construction is completed safely, and project execution meets the defined quality control and quality assurance standards with clear, supporting documentation. This person collaborates in a systemic, cross-functional manner to support relentless reliability, continuous improvement, and excellent execution are measured and achieved. By limiting lost revenue due to poor quality and safety incidents, the Quality and EHS Specialist supports Aegis' purpose of creating raving fans of both customers and team members.

What you'll do

  • Experience overseeing delivery of safe, quality workmanship in on construction site
  • Specialist needs to leverage understanding of excellence in construction to provide timely feedback throughout project.
  • Effectively employs quality tools to analyze and evaluate data throughout project lifecycle
  • Individual can apply statistical data tools and automation for tracking performance and continuous improvement.
  • Support strong quality and safety culture through interactions with site personnel and subcontractors
  • Multiply the impact and effectiveness of quality / safety team by highlighting ways everyone can “make it better”
  • Ability to inspect tools, vehicles, safety equipment, incoming materials, and site at defined intervals
  • Inspections ensure that specifications, standards are met or timely detection, correction, and closure of issues.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years' experience in a QA/QC role in a construction like environment
  • Proven experience conducting inspections of tools, vehicles, safety equipment, incoming materials, and site at defined intervals
  • Travel up to 75%
  • OSHA 10
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) Experience
  • OSHA 30
