Job Summary

As a Manager in IOT Engineering department, you will lead and oversee the planning, design, and implementation of Aeris IOTA solutions within the Core and Connectivity landscape, ensuring the accurate and efficient engineering of software-based information systems. With technical understanding of 4G/5G Core networks and IoT SaaS solutions, you will lead a team that builds tailored deployments that align with customer needs. You will be responsible for optimizing resource allocation and ensuring the seamless integration of new technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership and Performance: 

• Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of Solution Architects and System Integrators, driving their development and growth. 
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment, ensuring team members have the tools, training, and resources they need to succeed. 
• Provide guidance and support to the team in complex problem-solving. 
• Set and track individual and team KPIs (key performance indicators) related to project delivery, system reliability, and issue resolution. 
• Conduct regular performance reviews and one-on-one meetings to track progress, address concerns, and celebrate achievements. 

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: 

• Collaborate with project managers, product, network operations and other business units to align objectives, manage priorities, and deliver integrated solutions. 
• Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of projects in scope of the team, executed by Engineering team. Support the team to ensure timely and quality outcomes. 
• Cooperate in cross-functional teams to support customer and network growth, advocating for resource needs and technology investments. 

Risk Management: 

• Identify potential risks related to network capacity, performance, and growth, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks proactively. 
• Able to problem solving for business escalations. 
• Ensure the team adheres to all relevant regulatory requirements, company policies, and data security protocols. 
• Implement forward-thinking strategies to manage network constraints, ensuring the infrastructure is prepared for future technological advancements such as 5G, IoT, and beyond.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related fields. 
• At least five years of relevant experience in managing technical teams within the IoT or telecommunications industry. 
• Strong experience in the telecom industry, particularly in 4G and 5G standards, as well as IoT and IP networks. 
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop team members. 
• Strong problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude. 
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural and multinational environment.

• AI & Automation Mindset – Leverages AI tools and automation to enhance efficiency and decision-making.
• RelevanT certifications (ITIL, PMP).
