Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Software QA Architect to define and drive quality strategy for complex, data-driven enterprise SaaS platforms. This role focuses on backend, API, and data validation testing across distributed systems, analytics platforms, and automation-heavy environments. The ideal candidate is a strong quality leader with deep test automation, SQL, and data analytics expertise, capable of influencing engineering practices and ensuring high reliability, scalability, and security of modern SaaS platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Architecture & Strategy

• Define and own the end-to-end QA architecture and quality roadmap.
• Drive automation-first and shift-left testing practices aligned with CI/CD pipelines.
• Design scalable quality strategies for distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and data-driven platforms.
• Establish quality standards, governance, and release readiness processes.

Test Automation & Data Validation

• Architect, implement, and evolve robust automation frameworks for backend and API testing.
• Lead automation for:
• • API testing (REST, event-driven systems)
  • Backend services and workflows
  • Data validation using SQL and analytics-driven approaches
• Ensure strong automation coverage across functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality feedback.
• Improve test reliability, execution speed, scalability, and maintainability.
• Evaluate and standardize tools, frameworks, and best practices.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Act as a technical leader and mentor for QA engineers and SDETs.
• Coach teams on test automation, architecture, and quality mindset.
• Partner closely with engineering, product, and platform teams to ensure quality by design.
• Influence stakeholders on quality risks, trade-offs, and technical decisions.
• Lead quality reviews and readiness for major releases.

Non-Functional Testing

• Define and oversee performance, scalability, resiliency, and reliability testing.
• Support production readiness through observability, monitoring, and post-release quality metrics.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software quality engineering, with 3–5+ years in a senior, principal, or architect role.
• Proven expertise in test automation architecture and implementation.
• Strong SQL and data analytics skills, with hands-on experience validating complex, data-driven systems.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar languages.
• Hands-on experience with API and backend testing.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience driving quality for enterprise-grade SaaS platforms.

Preferred / Good-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience in IoT, cellular, telecom, or network analytics domains.
• Exposure to GenAI or AI-driven testing approaches (good to have, not mandatory).
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
