Essential Functions:
- Perform product inspection, labeling and packaging operations
- Perform production operations according to Batch Records and SOPs
- Qualify for and maintain qualified inspector status
- Maintain order and cleanliness in Labeling and Inspection Areas
- Report to the Finishing Operations Manager
- Maintain proper documentation (batch records, production logs, etc.)
- Onsite attendance required. (Being physically present at work on a regular basis is considered a critical part of performing the job duties)
- Other duties as assigned as assigned by management
Must be able to develop and maintain positive working relationships with coworkers, subordinates, and vendors.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Minimum high school diploma; Associates or Bachelor’s degree desirable.
- Ability to read and write, dress, speak and act in professional manner
- Current (within the past year) eye exam
- Physically able to stand or sit for extended periods; lift up to 40 pounds; bend and reach to access equipment; have near vision correctable to 20/20 and able to wear corrective eyewear to achieve this, if necessary.
- Must be capable of working in close proximity to other employees, in the confined environment of the production or packaging facility.
- Able to maintain clear and accurate records.
Requirements for Education and Work Experience:
- Minimum of high school diploma or GED; Associates or Bachelor’s degree desirable
- One year of manufacturing experience required. Three years manufacturing experience or more strongly preferred.
- Clean room experience preferred.
