JOB SUMMARY
AgAmerica Lending is one of the largest, non-bank agricultural land loan lenders and servicers in the United States, offering a spectrum of loan programs that support long-term production and success for farmers, ranchers, and landowners. The Company’s accounting team is seeking a seasoned treasury professional to join as our Treasury Analyst. This position is responsible for cash management, cash reporting, and administration of bank accounts and online banking systems. Core responsibilities also include oversight for all daily and monthly transactional processing surrounding receipt and settlement of borrower payments in compliance with the Company’s loan servicing agreements.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for overseeing the cash position of the organization
- Oversees daily outgoing wire and ACH activity, including check payment activities
- Responsible for cash reporting and cash forecasting, including enhancement of our existing baseline reporting
- Monitors all proposed bank transactions and related journal entries for various cash transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Manages banking relationships, overseeing bank permissions and services provided by banking partners
- Interacts with external banks and internal departments around service quality and process matters
- Develop and maintain KPIs around key treasury activities
- Optimizes surplus funds to generate returns on idle cash
- Reviews and approves bank reconciliations - ensuring accuracy and timely resolution for large or unusual items
- Assists the accounting team during month end with assigned account reconciliations and reporting
- Assists the accounting team during annual audits
- Identifying and mitigating financial risks with a focus on fraud prevention
- Build out the control environment surrounding cash processes and maintain annual process documentation reviews
- Administration of the Company’s credit card program
- Analyzes and provides reporting on bank fees and credit card transactions
- Act as project manager on treasury and accounting automation projects
- Seek out problems and find solutions, while generating new, creative and actionable ideas
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2 - 4 years of Treasury and Accounting experience
- Strong understanding of treasury and accounting best practices and controls, with experience in developing, documenting, and implementing treasury processes and procedures
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Financial services experience
- Loan servicing experience
- Detail-oriented and can articulate points in a simplistic approach
- Knowledge of Oracle NetSuite ERP system is a plus
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
