JOB SUMMARY
AgAmerica is seeking an Agricultural Loan Officer who will serve as a key member of the FinTech Production team. This individual will be a primary point of contact for borrowers and a deal team leader throughout the lending process. The Agricultural Loan Officer will have strong communication and organizational skills, and their main responsibilities include borrower and internal team communication, loan structuring, agricultural real estate analysis, and accurate data collection within our CRM database. They are expected to be a self-starter, strong multi-tasker, and a highly motivated problem solver that is comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, who will work with all departments while creating financial structures that will meet the needs of AgAmerica’s borrowers while providing an excellent borrower experience throughout the process. An Agricultural Loan Officer will have a strong knowledge of lending and thrive in a high-growth company while embracing and driving change.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as a primary point of contact for borrowers, ensuring clear communication and properly set expectations throughout the lending process and through loan closing
- Assist Directors in FinTech Production throughout the lending process
- Collect and organize outstanding items for the lending process, such as borrower financials, supporting credit documentation, collateral real estate information, and closing due diligence documentation
- Ensure the accurate preparation of loan documents, verifying that all terms, conditions, and collateral are correct
- Compile and maintain detailed, up-to-date information in the CRM database, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Utilize databases, software, and tracking tools to manage workflows efficiently
- Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, supporting special projects as needed
- Develop in-depth knowledge of AgAmerica lending products, services, and procedures
- Work closely with the Appraisal, Closing, Servicing, and the Lead Generation departments
- Achieve goals and KPIs set by company
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or Agriculture preferred
- 1-3 years of lending or equivalent experience
- Background/experience in the agricultural industry
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks
- Comprehensive understanding of financial reporting and the ability to articulate your findings with borrowers and internal team members
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and ability to problem solve
- Detail-oriented and highly organized individual with the ability to multi-task
- Positive attitude and upbeat demeanor and an ability to remain calm under pressure
- Capable of understanding new information at a rapid pace
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and Salesforce
TRAVEL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
- Occasional travel may be required
- Ability to work in dog-friendly office
