About the role
As a Senior Quality Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role on our Retention team vetting product requirements, writing test plans, and providing constructive feedback to product and engineering stakeholders as we continue to shift left in our SDLC. You'll also assist in standing up our first End to End test suite for our software deployment pipeline by building DRY, readable, and maintainable tests that deliver value by reducing our manual regression scope. This role will have the unique opportunity to help build a pipeline test suite from the ground up alongside our Quality Manager while mentoring other members of the QA team as they ramp to contribute.


What you'll do

  • Design and execute Test Plans for new features
  • Communicate with other Engineers, Product, and Design around requirements
  • Participate in Product discussions
  • Design, write, execute, and maintain automated tests in a CI/CD pipeline
  • Mentor other QA team members along their journey to test automation contribution
  • Deliver Product and Engineering feedback in a constructive manner
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify bugs, defects, process improvements and high value test automation scenarios
  • Contribute to technical discussions in a meaningful capacity

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in a Quality Assurance role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in waterfall/hybrid/agile delivery models
  • Motivated and well organized with a keen attention to detail
  • Experience developing Test Plans for mid to high complexity products
  • Ability to deal with multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
  • 3+ years of experience maintaining and building automated tests, preferably in a CI/CD environment (Playwright or Cypress)
  • Functional understanding of test automation best practices and design patterns
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Proficiency with Javascript or Typescript
  • Ecommerce and telemedicine experience a plus

The pay range for this role is:

120,000 - 130,000 USD per year (Remote (United States))
