Overview:

AgentSync is seeking a sophisticated, business-savvy Associate General Counsel to join our growing  legal team. You will have deep experience in SaaS commercial and transactional agreements  and will provide strategic legal counsel across our corporate, sales and commercial platforms to support the company’s rapid growth and continued success. You will be able to operate independently in a high-growth environment and work collaboratively with our executive team, as well as cross-functionally with business partners.  

This position will report to the General Counsel and will be based within the US (remotely or  on-site in Denver). 

Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate and manage transactional and commercial agreement processes and  templates 
  • Support and/or manage other legal matters, such as general corporate, intellectual  property, regulatory, labor/employment and litigation 
  • Maintain knowledge of the company’s legal documents and operations  
  • Build strong relationships with external parties, including partners, regulators and  external counsel 
  • Wear many hats and roll up your sleeves where needed in this fast-moving, start-up  environment 

Requirements: 

  • JD degree and accredited in at least one state 
  • Minimum 7 years advising on commercial contracts, including at least 3 years  negotiating SaaS contracts 
  • Minimum 3 years of in-house experience, strong preference for prior growth startup  experience 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - must be able to distill complex legal  issues into simple terms and explain negotiation strategies to non-lawyers at all levels  throughout the company 
  • Dynamic self-starter and efficient problem-solver with a high sense of urgency

Location:
This is a hybrid position and is open to candidates living within 25 miles of our office in RiNo. Candidates for this role will work on our hybrid schedule Tu, Wed., Th. in office, and M, F work from home.

Our ideal candidate will live within 25 miles of our office in Denver. Other states we're able to consider candidates in are CO, CA, DC, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KS, MA, MD, MO, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OR, TX, UT, VA, & WA.


Salary:

In accordance with Colorado law, the following represents AgentSync’s reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role, if hired in Colorado.


Denver/Boulder Metro

$160,000 - $190,000 base
