Data Privacy Program Manager

AgentSync is a powerful, easy-to-use Compliance as a Service solution, directly integrating regulatory database sources of truth (i.e. NIPR, FINRA) with core business systems (i.e. Salesforce) so we can automate the critical business processes associated with these compliance requirements.

We’re a new-school solution tackling an age-old, ubiquitous problem with smart technology and  automation in a market full of inefficient, high-cost solution options - spreadsheets, manual processes, legacy software, more headcount, outsourcing, etc.

Overview:

Ready to be the architect of privacy at a dynamic tech startup? We're looking for a Data Privacy Program Manager to build our enterprise-wide privacy program from the ground up—giving you the rare opportunity to shape how we protect customer data across every facet of our business. • Design and implement policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with global data privacy laws and regulations (CCPA/CPRA)
  • Monitor privacy regulations and assess their impact on business organizations
  • Collaborate with Legal, Product, Engineering, Security, People, Marketing, Compliance and other teams to ensure privacy requirements are integrated into business processes and systems
  • Conduct and oversee privacy impact assessments, data mapping, and records of processing activities
  • Train employees and raise awareness on data privacy principles and best practices
  • Track and report key privacy program metrics to senior leadership
  • Serve as trusted advisor to the business on all matters related to data protection and privacy

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years of experience in privacy related role
  • In-depth knowledge of United States Privacy laws and regulations

Preferred Experience:

  • Privacy certification (CIPP/US, CIPM or CIPT)
  • Familiarity with privacy compliance frameworks such as NIST Privacy Framework
  • Experience working in or with Legal and Compliance departments
  • Background in fast-growing or startup environments
  • Familiarity with SaaS, cloud technologies, or insurance-data businesses
