About the role

The Senior Paid Marketing Specialist is responsible for the strategic campaign management for clients on Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Criteo, managing, but not limited to, search, display, shopping, PMAX, video, and Demand Gen campaign types. The day-to-day duties include developing digital marketing strategies, implementing campaign builds and optimizations, as well as performing ongoing analysis to drive towards client business objectives. 

This role will be responsible for identifying opportunities to expand visibility and profitability to ensure strategic funnel investment across each campaign’s purpose. The Senior Paid Marketing Specialist will also assist with driving key initiatives as well as training and mentoring Coordinators and Specialists. The role will collaborate with leaders both Business Unit leaders and service leaders to help iterate and evolve service methodology and tool creation.

What you'll do

  • Google, Microsoft, & Criteo Strategy & Ad Management
    • Day-to-day management of campaigns through strategy development and execution for high value and strategic clients
    • Implement, or work with executers within the department to fulfill campaign tactics and optimizations, as well as maintain client monthly budgets and other important account metrics
    • Provide recommendations and execute strategies for growth opportunities for client accounts to ensure accounts are on the path to hit client business objectives & KPIs, such as maximizing ROI 
    • Strategic development and implementation for SEM accounts to improve client performance and satisfaction 
  • Client Communication, Delivery & Collaboration
    • Communicate strategically with clients regularly on campaign performance, insights, takeaways, and deliverables, as well as internally collaborate with the Account Team on holistic sitewide strategies
    • Generate and analyze client reporting and speak effectively towards performance for all major metrics, goal tracking, revenue pacing, and other SEM initiatives
  • Industry Knowledge & Core Skills
    • Ability to follow changes in ecommerce and SEM marketing industry and adjust strategies accordingly
    • Serve as a resource for campaign management, optimization, and troubleshooting across all campaign types, betas, and information 
    • Proven resourcefulness, showing initiative to research before asking questions
    • Meet and exceed key department metrics

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree with at least 3 years of experience successfully managing and growing SEM accounts 
  • Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Merchant Center, and Microsoft Ads experience and knowledge
  • Google Ads & Microsoft Ads Certifications required
  • Strong understanding on Google and Microsoft Ads campaign management, including Product Ads, Search Ads, PMAX, Demand Gen, Display Ads & Video Ads
  • Robust understanding of Agital’s holistic approach
  • High proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools as well as internal reporting tools
  • Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and projects under tight deadlines while keeping a professional demeanor
  • Strong skills in analysis, critical thinking, problem-solving
  • Self-motivated, independent, proactive
  • Proven organizational and communication skills
