About the role
- Agora.io’s Account Executive will be responsible for driving and gaining customer adoption of Agora.io’s technology. Reporting to our Vice President of Sales, you’ll drive sales cycles with key accounts, negotiate, and close major deals with targeted customers.
What you'll do
- Execute full lifecycle sales processes, achieving short-, mid- and long-term sales objectives and ensuring sales and revenue targets are achieved in line with corporate objectives.
- Engage potential customers, using industry standard “best practice” outbound cold sales and account management techniques, including processes calls, email, video conferences, in-person meetings, social media, referrals, etc.
- Update and maintain all sales processesincluding processes and reporting tools, including CRM, weekly sales reports, account planning etc.
- Provide account leadership and direction in the pre- and post-sales process.
- Deliver market feedback to our Executive, Product Engineering, and Product Marketing teams regarding services, features, positioning and pricing to support continuous improvement of our product offerings.
- Create adoption & drive revenue across our entire product line with an emphasis on our ConversationalAI Engine solution
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience and success performing strategic and direct product/services technology sales; strong preference will be given to candidates coming from sales roles in a similar domain, such as WebRTC, audio/video, SDKs, and unified communications;
- Consistent ability to be directly responsible for bringing in $1,000,000+ in annual net new client revenue
- Desire and ability to adapt to, and thrive in, a startup environment and evolving industry that is rapidly changing;
- Deep analytical skills and business acumen; past success setting and achieving goals, reporting and forecasting accuracy, and consistently meeting revenue objectives;
- Compelling and influential presence in front of customers, partners and employees;
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal,. and written communication skills;
- An undergraduate degree in Business or related discipline, or equivalent experience, is required.
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally, up to 30% of the time.
Compensation:
Annual Base $150,000-$190,000 + commission
