Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in monitoring security alerts and incidents across various systems and platforms.
  • Support the investigation and analysis of security incidents, identifying root causes and recommending remediation actions.
  • Help maintain and update security documentation, including incident response plans and standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members on vulnerability assessments and penetration testing activities.
  • Participate in security awareness training and initiatives for employees.
  • Assist in the management of security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus solutions.
  • Conduct research on emerging security threats and best practices in the cybersecurity landscape.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts, tools, and practices.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (eg, NIST, ISO 27001) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • A passion for cybersecurity and a desire to learn about security operations with a desire to learn and have a strong sense of curiosity.
  • Fluency in Mandarin a plus.
