You will be responsible for driving and gaining customer adoption of Agora.io’s technology. Reporting to our VP of Sales, you’ll apply a growth mindset to drive sales & new revenue growth in key accounts & verticals.
Responsibilities:
· Engage potential customers, using industry standard “best practice” sales, including, events, calls, email, video conferences, in-person meetings, social media, referrals, consultants etc.
· Work with Agora Leadership to devise a strategic sales plans aligned with competitive analyses, customer segmentation, penetration plans, and thoughtful product positioning.
· Update and maintain all sales process and reporting tools, including CRM, weekly sales reports, account planning etc.
· Attending local meet-ups & events
· Provide account leadership and direction in the pre- and post-sales process.
· Deliver market feedback to our executive teams regarding services, features, positioning and pricing to support continuous improvement of our product offerings.
· Set-up and conduct introduction calls and presentations with prospective customers; negotiate and close deals.
Required Skills, Experience and Competencies:
· We are looking for someone with grit, determination, and an entrepreneurial mindset. Someone who’s willing to take initiative and go beyond the status quo. In addition, desire and ability to adapt to, and thrive in, a startup environment and evolving industry that is rapidly changing,
· 1+ years of experience performing direct product/services sales in the SMB and Enterprise space (specific knowledge of some or most of these technologies is ideal: voice, VoIP, video, chat, web conferencing, cloud and SDK/Codec.
· Proven track record of success in sales and strong working experience with related tools, e.g., Salesforce, Apptopia, Linkedin Sales Navigator etc.
· Deep analytical skills and business acumen; past success setting and achieving goals, reporting, and forecasting accuracy, and consistently meeting revenue objectives
· Compelling and influential presence in front of customers, partners and employees
· Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
· An undergraduate degree in Business or related discipline, or equivalent experience, is preferred but not required.
