About the role

The Senior Solution Architect is the senior customer-facing technical expert who connects Korean enterprise requirements with Agora's platform. The role designs scalable, secure, and low-latency architectures, leads complex system integrations, and serves as a trusted technical advisor to strategic customers and partners building real-time engagement and conversational AI applications.

This is a Korea-focused field position within Agora's regional Solutions & Tech organization. The person in this role owns the end-to-end technical solution lifecycle for assigned Korean accounts, provides expert-level guidance to solution engineers and partners, and feeds field-derived insight back into Agora's global reference architectures and product roadmap.

What you'll do

Solution Architecture & Technical Delivery

• Design, document, and propose scalable, secure, low-latency, and high-performance architectures leveraging Agora's client SDKs, server-side REST APIs, Conversational AI stack, and SD-RTN real-time infrastructure.

• Lead technical discovery sessions, architecture workshops, deep-dive reviews, proof-of-concept (POC) builds, and live technical validation with Korean customers and partners to confirm solution fit and accelerate adoption.

• Implement and guide integrations across mobile (iOS/Android), web, and backend systems, including WebRTC, SIP/PSTN interworking, real-time media streaming, LLM orchestration, ASR/TTS pipelines, and MCP/function-calling frameworks.

• Provide expert-level technical guidance to solution engineers, developers, customers, and partners across the design, implementation, deployment, optimization, troubleshooting, and production-scaling phases of each engagement.

• Diagnose and resolve complex latency, media-quality, and interoperability issues in production real-time systems through log analysis, network diagnostics, and codec/transport tuning.

Product Feedback & Cross-Functional Engineering Collaboration

• Translate field and customer technical requirements, including Korea-specific deployment needs, into structured, actionable specifications for Product Management and Engineering, and influence platform roadmap and API design based on real-world deployment evidence.

• Contribute to internal engineering enablement assets, including reference architectures, integration guides, solution playbooks, and technical documentation.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, and local partners to align technical solutions with customer deployment, security, and scalability goals.

• Use AI-assisted development and productivity tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex) to accelerate prototyping, integration, and troubleshooting.

• Track developments across Conversational AI, Voice AI, WebRTC, real-time media, and cloud communications, and proactively advise customers and internal teams on their technical implications.

Regional Scope (Korea)

• Serve as the primary technical solutions lead for enterprise customers and partners in South Korea, conducting customer-facing architecture, integration, technical workshop, and troubleshooting work in Korean and English as required.

• Adapt Agora's reference architectures to Korea-specific requirements, including local network topology, data-residency and privacy considerations, latency optimization, enterprise security reviews, and applicable compliance standards.
