Position Overview 

Are you an expert storyteller with a knack for simplifying complex marketing concepts? As Aimtal’s Growth Marketing Manager, you’ll translate these ideas into actionable strategies and sights, presenting them to clients and internal teams. 

In this role, you’ll lead Aimtal’s Growth Marketing team, overseeing content marketing, digital marketing, and demand generation. You’ll also work closely with the Account Services and Creative departments to solve problems and deliver solutions.

Core Responsibilities 

Team management responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage Aimtal’s Growth Marketing team

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and direct reports to align project priorities with department and agency goals.

  • Onboard, train, and provide ongoing coaching in the Growth Marketing team.

  • Conduct regular 1:1s, weekly check-ins, and annual performance reviews with direct reports.

  • Mentor and offer professional development opportunities to team members.

  • Encourage a culture of open communication, collaboration, and knowledge sharing across departments.

  • Identify and resolve conflicts and issues that may arise to maintain a positive work environment.

  • Recognize and celebrate team achievements to boost morale and motivation.

Strategy & management responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee full-funnel, integrated growth marketing strategies across various channels.

  • Collaborate to create statements of work, project plans, and budgets.

  • Establish and implement growth marketing processes and systems

  • Collaborate with other teams to define client marketing goals and strategies

  • Gain a deep understanding of client customers, products, and buyer journeys

  • Create target personas tied to specific customer pain points and value propositions

  • Stay updated on the latest growth marketing tools and tactics, implementing new strategies for Aimtal and its clients.

Client services responsibilities:

  • Deliver excellent client services and support through effective verbal and written communication and collaboration 

  • Lead client calls, presentations, and strategy discussions 

  • Present strategies, reports, and campaigns to clients and key stakeholders

  • Forge strategic relationships with client marketing and sales teams, presenting performance data, facilitating feedback, and collaborating to align sales and marketing goals, processes, and strategies 

  • Translate complex marketing data into actionable, understandable insights for clients and internal teams.

Marketing campaign responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize, oversee, and optimize full-funnel growth marketing campaigns, including demand generation, lead generation, lead nurture, and sales enablement

  • Build new systems and processes to organize and monitor growth marketing campaigns

  • Plan, execute, optimize, and oversee advertising campaigns and budgets across digital channels such as display, social, native advertising, and video, especially for Google, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube

  • Analyze and optimize paid advertising campaign performance including, optimizing budgets, bid tactics, targeting, copy, and creative across platforms 

  • Review & oversee the building of automated email marketing workflows to nurture leads and fuel client pipelines

  • Edit, review (and, occasionally, write) ad copy

  • Collaborate with the content marketing team members to develop compelling content assets that align with various rostra of the buyer's journey

  • Manage third-party vendor relationships for growth marketing platforms (i.e. account reps from HubSpot, LinkedIn, etc.)

Analytics & reporting responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize, build, and present “C-Suite ready” reports that simplify, visualize, and communicate high-level performance updates that excite and inform non-marketing personnel 

  • Serve as a leader in marketing analytics, including marketing attribution, ROI reporting, lead scoring, and predictive analytics

  • Oversee and optimize the analytics and reporting processes for digital marketing campaigns across platforms

  • Lead the creation of ROI and marketing attribution reports for clients 

  • Define, measure, and evaluate relevant growth marketing metrics & KPIs

Lead management & marketing automation responsibilities:

  • Build marketing automation systems and processes, such as lead scoring and attribution programs and workflows, that optimize client marketing platforms and programs

  • Partner with Aimtal’s Growth Marketing Team to oversee the approach and management of contacts in client CRMs including contact management, list segmentation, and troubleshooting CRM issues

  • Research and advise on best practices for CRM management, lead management, list segmentation, A/B testing, and recommendations for how clients can optimize their CRM platform and strategies.

  • Create and manage lead nurturing programs that effectively engage prospects throughout the customer journey, from initial interest to conversion

  • Ensure effective conversion tracking and data privacy best practices are always set up for all marketing campaigns

Research & experimentation responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and measure campaign experiments, conversion tests, and growth strategies

  • Guide A/B testing strategies and execution across all channels

  • Maintain and advance knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies, especially as relates to growth marketing and marketing analytics


Qualifications 

  • 7+ years of experience working in a marketing agency 

  • 5+ years of experience leading a team of marketers

  • 7+ years of proven experience in growth marketing, with a strong focus on team leadership, client management, strategy, and paid advertising

  • Strong portfolio showing experience in growth marketing

  • Deep understanding of the B2B buyer journey from both a marketing and sales perspective

  • Extensive knowledge of full-funnel growth marketing strategies, tactics & processes, including demand & lead generation, lead nurturing, and marketing-sales alignment

  • Experience leading integrated campaigns across marketing channels including paid search, paid social, organic social email, website & landing pages, webinars, guides, case studies, video content & more 

  • Extensive experience with:

    • Paid advertising on Google Ads, LinkedIn, and YouTube, as well as other ad platforms 

    • Lead management, lead scoring & marketing automation via HubSpot and/or other marketing CRMs (i.e. Marketo, Salesforce)

    • Marketing analytics, reporting & pipeline attribution via HubSpot, Google Analytics, Tableau, Looker, or other analytics platforms 

  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate ideas with marketers, executives, product managers, designers, and developers

  • Ability to lead discussions, presentations, and brainstorming sessions

  • Ability to inspire and coach other members of the growth marketing department by providing collective and individual training 

  • Excellent client-facing and internal team communication skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially for online channels and conference calls

  • Strong organizational abilities and ability to self-manage tasks and projects 

  • Able to work on multiple projects at once, set priorities, problem-solve, and improvise when necessary

  • Able to communicate and collaborate with internal teams and clients across multiple time zones 

  • A desire to work hours aligning with North America's Eastern time zones

  • Open to receiving feedback and applying it for performance and process improvement

  • Experience in proactively taking the initiative to resolve issues and create and drive solutions 

  • Ability to gracefully adapt to new priorities and company initiatives 

  • Exceptional communication, attention to detail, organizational, prioritization, and decision-making skills in a variety of channels and methods (meetings, Slack, ClickUp, email, project plans, etc.)
