Position Overview

Aimtal is seeking a dynamic and strategic Content Marketing Manager to join our growing team. This isn't just a writing job; it's a key strategic role for someone who is passionate about crafting compelling B2B narratives, devising innovative SEO strategies, and consulting directly with clients to achieve their content marketing goals.

This is a client-facing role. You must be comfortable presenting regularly to clients and consulting them to drive success with content.


Core Responsibilities


Content Marketing & Copywriting Responsibilities:

  • Research, write, review, edit, and optimize marketing copy for B2B audiences in various formats, including:
    • Messaging guides
    • Video scripts
    • Organic social media copy
    • Paid ad copy (Google Search & Display, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and more)
    • Blog articles
    • Email campaigns
    • UX/UI copywriting for website pages and landing pages
    • Downloadable guides
    • Case studies
    • Webinar scripts
    • Sell sheets
  • Translate complex business and technology topics into exciting, compelling copy that attracts and converts prospects.
  • Develop and execute content calendars for blogs, lead-generation campaigns, and social media
  • Conduct SEO, target audience, persona, and competitor research to inform content strategy and copywriting.
  • Research and implement SEO and AIO best practices into content and strategies
  • Ensure all content maintains a consistent brand voice personality, style, and tone across channels, and adheres to accessibility and compliance regulations
  • Measure the results of SEO, AIO & content marketing campaigns and activities to inform future marketing campaigns
  • Collaborate with account, design, and content teams to determine client marketing goals and execute SEO & content marketing strategies to achieve them

Consulting and Client Services Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent client services and support through verbal and written communication and collaboration
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients and provide strategic guidance on their content marketing initiatives.
  • Lead client calls and presentations related to content, SEO, and growth marketing projects and initiatives
  • Manage client feedback to ensure the delivery of high-quality work.
  • Collaborate with Aimtal’s Account Managers as well as other members of the Growth Marketing department to build, execute, and report on demand & lead generation strategies, campaigns, projects, and tactics
  • Content Marketing Strategy Responsibilities:
  • Conceptualize, build, and execute content marketing strategies and solutions for clients based on their organizational goals and objectives for content, SEO and AIO growth
  • Create and manage processes for content marketing and AIO/SEO/SEM marketing for Aimtal and clients
  • Partner with Aimtal’s account, design, and growth team members to determine client marketing goals and provide guidance on how to achieve them through content and growth marketing tactics
  • Create concepts and scripts for marketing videos, then partner with Aimtal creative team members to bring video projects to life
  • Work with internal teams and the leadership team to estimate the level of effort and scope for content and growth marketing projects and tasks in order to inform project plans, budgets, and statements of work
  • Lead content brainstorming sessions
  • Research and create target personas tied to specific customer needs and preferences

Marketing Campaign Responsibilities:

  • Write, edit, and review content for a variety of channels in order to target consumers throughout the customer lifecycle
  • Collaborate with growth marketing team members to develop compelling and relevant content assets that align with various stages of the buyer's journey
  • Build new systems and processes to organize and improve content procedures within integrated marketing campaigns
  • Write and review all marketing campaign materials, including ads, emails, and landing pages, to ensure they align with campaign objectives and strategies
  • Build, edit, analyze, and report on landing pages, uploading blogs & press releases, and managing email campaigns in Hubspot
  • Analytics & Reporting Responsibilities:
  • Conceptualize, build, and present “C-Suite ready” reports that visualize and communicate high-level performance updates that excite and inform non-marketing personnel
  • Monitor, analyze, report on, and communicate SEO performance in Semrush, as well as set up client projects within the tool
  • Leverage data and analytics to measure campaign performance, identify opportunities for optimization, and provide actionable insights to improve marketing efforts.
  • Oversee and optimize the content analytics and reporting processes for digital marketing campaigns and reporting features from various advertising and social platforms, including, but not limited to, Semrush, Sprout Social, HubSpot, Google Analytics, and Looker Studio
  • Define, measure, and evaluate relevant content, SEO, and growth marketing metrics & KPIs

Department Responsibilities:

  • Provide ongoing training and information to the internal team about information related to content, SEO, and AIO marketing
  • Utilize company-approved AI tools and systems to deliver client work efficiently and innovatively for clients who have consented to AI usage.
  • Identify and regularly share emerging content and AI content trends, and develop new methodologies and strategies for leveraging AI to create better content and achieve better client outcomes
  • Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to enhance the skills and capabilities of team members
  • Encourage a culture of open communication, collaboration, and knowledge sharing within the growth marketing department and across departments.
  • Collaborate with Growth Marketing Lead and other managers to align project priorities with overall department and agency goals
  • Celebrate achievements and recognize outstanding performance to boost team morale and motivation

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of advertising, marketing, or ad agency experience working as content manager or content strategist
  • Strong portfolio showing experience in telling stories across multiple platforms
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate ideas with marketers, strategists, executives, product managers, designers, and developers
  • Ability to lead discussions, presentations, brainstorms, and internal strategy sessions
  • Ability to inspire and excite other members of the team by providing content, context, and helpful collaboration
  • Deep interest in written storytelling and content analytics
  • Is highly proficient in using content tools such as SEMRush, LinkedIn, HubSpot and Sprout Social, and eager to learn new technologies
  • Excellent client-facing and internal team communication skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially for online channels and conference calls
  • Demonstrates strong organizational abilities and can self-manage and self-organize tasks and projects
  • Adept at self-managing tasks and projects in a virtual workplace and virtual tools
  • Able to work on multiple projects at once, set priorities, problem-solve, and improvise when necessary
  • Able to communicate and collaborate with internal teams and clients across multiple time zones
  • A desire to work hours aligning with North America's Eastern time zones
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and leadership skills
  • Open to receiving feedback and applying it for performance and process improvement
