This role offers the opportunity to grow in one of the Midwest’s leading family-owned fuel management companies, dedicated to safely delivering a wide range of fuels and lubricants to our diverse clientele.

Role Description

As our Fuel and Lubricant Sales Representative, you will become a key player in driving B2B sales and fostering strong partnerships with clients. Your expertise in different fuel types, including red diesel for off-road equipment and green diesel for road vehicles, will help you provide tailored solutions that meet each customer’s unique needs.

Your expertise in different fuel types, including red diesel for off-road equipment and green diesel for road vehicles, will help you provide tailored solutions that meet each customer’s unique needs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to exceed goals, supporting market strategies from the Division Manager.
  • Understand and communicate the uses and benefits of various fuel types and lubricants to address customer needs.
  • Build lasting partnerships with clients by identifying opportunities and responding with a sense of urgency.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for promotional events and customer service initiatives.
  • Create customized proposals and action plans to win new business.
  • Communicate product and pricing updates to customers.
  • Contribute to market research and support new business expansion strategies.
  • Report progress, issues, and results to the Division Manager and Marketing/Product Manager.

Requirements

Preferred Skills and Requirements:

  • At least 3 year in a sales role, with proven skills in customer development and account management.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in Sales Planning, Project Management, and Product Development.
  • Ability to navigate conversations around different fuel types.
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
  • Ability to work effectively with team members and clients at all levels.
  • Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with fuel systems are a plus.
