Job Summary:
The Stockroom Worker performs a variety of tasks including handling materials to internal customers in an accurate, timely, and safe manner; efficiently and safely transports, sorts, and stocks materials.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.
· Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.
· Perform physical inventory of warehouse tools and materials.
· Ability to operate a forklift in a safe and efficient manner.
· Examine and inspect incoming items for wear or defects, reporting and damage to supervisors.
· Verify accuracy and record incoming shipments and related materials.
· Distribute materials and supplies.
· Stock and organize inventory.
· Performs other related tasks as assigned by management.
Work Experience, Education, and Skills:
· High school diploma or GED preferred.
· 1-2 years work experience in a warehouse, stockroom or related area strongly preferred to include operating a forklift.
· Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
· Ability to problem solve and proactively provide solutions to improve work process and outcomes.
· Flexibility and willingness to work within changing priorities with a positive outlook.
· Ability to work with minimum supervision.
· Communication: Talking to others to convey information effectively. Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.

Work Environment:

The pay range for this role is:
