Job Summary:
The IT Operations Manager is responsible for the daily operations and administration of IT systems and services across Albers Aerospace Holdings. The IT Operations Manager ensures IT infrastructure is reliable, secure, and aligned with organizational objectives while supporting compliance and operational efficiency.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Helpdesk & IT Support Management: Oversee and improve the corporate helpdesk function, ensuring timely and effective resolution of IT support requests across all business units.
• System Administration: Manage on-premises and cloud-based IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and endpoints, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Tactical Planning: Develop and execute project plans for near-term IT changes that align with business goals.
• IT Compliance & Security Support: Assist in maintaining compliance with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., CMMC, ISO) by implementing required controls and documenting security measures.
• Vendor & Asset Management: Work with vendors to procure IT hardware, software and services and manage IT asset inventories.
• Change Management: Serve as the IT manager level review for change management procedures and ensure proper documentation and escalation to the Director of IT and Cybersecurity teams as necessary.
• Policy Implementation: Assist with implementation of policies.
• Risk Management & Control Review: Assist CTO & Director of IT with review of security control effectiveness in day-to-day operations.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Required Skills/Abilities:
• Comprehensive IT knowledge and experience in desktops support, servers, network management, WiFi, Firewalls, etc.
• Ability to lead and develop IT projects.
• Experience in managing IT Support teams.
• Ability to bridge the gap between IT operations and security.
Education, Experience and Certifications Required:
Minimum:
• +9 years of relevant work experience.
• Degree and/or certification in Information Technology / Systems.
• Must be a U.S citizen. Must possess or be able to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Preferred:
• Preferred degree in Information Systems or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in the field or related area.
• Project Management Certifications
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• While primarily an office job, may require time at a manufacturing facility or other location.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
• Ability to traverse manufacturing facility.
• CONUS travel may be required from time to time.
