Quality Control Inspector

Summary:

The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring manufactured products meet internal and external quality standards, including quality requirements.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections of materials, products, and in-process work to verify compliance with quality standards.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of internal quality control systems.
  • Create and execute tests for quality assurance and control.
  • Review production records and test data to ensure regulatory and customer requirements are met.
  • Document and report findings related to product defects, deviations, or other quality issues.
  • Recommend and support corrective and preventive actions to improve product quality and production processes.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance Manager and other departments on continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Use quality tools, metrics, and analysis to monitor and improve internal processes.
  • Promote awareness of quality standards across departments.
  • Serve as a liaison for external audits and quality-related customer inquiries.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations. 

 Experience & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1–3 years of experience in product/material inspection or quality control preferred.
  • Training or certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or quality standards preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and general computer use.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Basic math skills, including ability to work with fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively in a team environment.

 

Work Environment:

This position is based in a warehouse setting where teamwork and efficiency are essential.

 

Shift:  

Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM

The pay range for this role is:

21 - 23 USD per hour (Advance Packaging - Baltimore, MD)
