What you'll do

• Sales support: Leverage your programming, chemistry and materials background to support the sales process for the Chemical/Material science industry, coding custom, domain-relevant software demonstrations, work with our internal teams to better understand clients’ research workflows, and objectives.
• Software Solution: Tailor our LIMS/ELN/AI software to client-specific needs for extended client engagements such as pilots, with the guidance of our Sales and Enablement teams.
• Presales Projects: Execute short-term AI projects with customers within tight deadlines by implementing scientific workflows on to Albert’s platform, overcoming any technical hurdles while keeping an eye on what is most valuable to the customer.
• Technical Support: Provide first-level support for pre-sales team, addressing technical issues and queries related, writing custom Python scripts and SQL queries to support our sales team.
• Stay Updated: Keep abreast of how our product is evolving with new features, and support code development to enable real-world solutions of these features for presales clients.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, computer science or a related technical field.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong programming background in Python with deep experience in advanced SQL queries. AI/ML experience a plus.
• Specialty Chemicals Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in specialty chemicals research.
• Team Player: Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work cross-functionally with product, sales, and customer success teams.
