The Role:

We are on the hunt for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team and lead the charge in expanding our presence in the Unified Communications (UC) space. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing key relationships, and growing our market share through strategic partnerships with channel distribution partners.


You’ll leverage your deep understanding of network-based IP communication products, VoIP, and UCaaS (Unified Communications as a Service) solutions to drive product adoption and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share within the UC and IP communication sectors, focusing on both new and existing distribution partners.
  • Strategic Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with distributors and key stakeholders in the UC, VoIP, and network communication markets.
  • Customer-Centric Strategy: Gain a deep understanding of customer needs, pain points, and decision-making processes to develop targeted strategies for growth in the UCaaS space.
  • Industry Leadership: Establish regular touchpoints with partners and industry organizations to stay ahead of market trends, ensuring we remain competitive and visible in the UC and IP communication ecosystem.
  • Sales Reporting & Insights: Prepare and present detailed reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market trends, with actionable insights for senior leadership.
  • CRM & Sales Tools: Utilize CRM platforms to effectively track, manage, and optimize sales activities, ensuring seamless interactions with customers and prospects.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years in business development or sales, within the UC, IP communication, or telephony sectors.
  • Proven Success: A strong track record of consistently achieving or surpassing sales targets and driving business growth in the UC or telecommunications industries.
  • Technical Expertise: A deep understanding of network-based IP audio and video communication products, telephony, networking, SIP, paging and Unified Communications technologies.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborative & Independent: Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Tools Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with sales automation tools is a plus.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Language: Fluent in English.

Salary: $100,000 Base + Commission
