Position Overview:
We’re looking for a Content Marketing Specialist who will take full ownership of our website and content strategy. This role is perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of content marketing, SEO, and website management—someone who is not just a great writer, but also a strategic thinker who understands how content, design, and UX work together to drive engagement.
You will be responsible for managing and improving our WordPress website, optimizing its UX, layout, and content, and ensuring it ranks well on search engines through SEO and Google Search Console analysis ensuring that all content aligns with business objectives, drives engagement, and ranks well in search engines. You'll also create high-quality marketing materials, from articles and case studies to one-pagers and brochures, ensuring our brand messaging is clear, compelling, and effective.
Responsibilities:
Content Strategy & Creation
- Develop and execute a content marketing strategy that aligns with our brand and business goals.
- Research, write, and edit high-quality content including articles, case studies, one-pagers, brochures, PDFs, and blog posts to support marketing initiatives.
- Maintain a consistent brand tone and messaging across all materials.
- Optimize all content for SEO and user engagement, following best practices to ensure high search visibility and conversion potential.
Website Ownership & UX Optimization
- Fully own and manage our WordPress website, keeping it optimized, updated, and aligned with business goals.
- Improve website UX, layout, and navigation to enhance user experience and drive conversions.
- Audit and refine landing pages, website copy, and structure for clarity, engagement, and SEO impact.
- Collaborate with designers and developers to implement website updates, new features, and enhancements.
- Monitor and troubleshoot technical SEO issues, site speed, and mobile usability to improve site performance.
SEO & Performance Management
- Develop and execute SEO strategies to increase organic traffic.
- Perform keyword research, on-page SEO, and technical optimizations (track site health, indexation, crawl issues, and search performance).
- Use Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and SEO tools (SEMRush, Ahrefs) to analyze and improve search performance.
- Conduct content audits and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in content marketing, SEO or website management.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear and compelling content.
- Experience managing WordPress websites and working with SEO tools (SEMrush, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs).
- Knowledge of SEO best practices, including keyword research, on-page SEO, and performance tracking.
- Familiarity with marketing collateral development such as brochures, PDFs, and sales enablement content. Experience developing sales enablement and marketing collateral (brochures, PDFs, whitepapers).
- Ability to work cross-functionally with designers, developers, and marketing teams.
- Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
Salary Range: $72,000-$75,000 Annually
